Selection of decks of cards
A deck of playing cards featuring Norse gods, released as a promotional item for the Danish beer brand Faxe. For several years, the company issued limited-edition beer cans in various countries—including Russia—decorated with illustrations based on Norse mythology. This deck was part of a special gift set, packaged in a large box that contained three attractively designed beer cans and the deck of cards. Such sets were sold in Russia.
The illustrations for the deck, as well as the artwork for the beer cans, were created by the Russian artist Nikolai Korolev.
