Selection of decks of cards
Alexander Perelman, a collector of playing cards, lived in St. Petersburg. His collection contained a huge number of different playing cards, including many unpublished original drawings by various artists, including the author of the famous Atlas Adolphe Charlemagne. During his lifetime, Perelman published a small book dedicated to Charlemagne's unpublished sketches. But the book was of poor print quality, so I asked the artist Ekaterina Stupakova to redraw these drawings. She added drawings of jokers and aces. The result was an original deck based on Charlemagne.
There are 2 versions of the deck edition, on one of the options on cards 6-10 there are erotic photographs of the late 19th century (when the sketches were drawn) and with the usual suit icons.
When ordering, specify which option you need.
In 2010, a deck was published with original sketches by Adolphe Charlemagne.
