Here is a reprint of a previously unknown variant editions Glazetnye deck. Published for the first time in over 150 years. Produced in Russia in the 1850s. cards Historians knew 2 options such decks. It is the third - it is different from other cross jack. As well as drawing the other cards with more noticeable differences, in other less. This is due to the fact that the cards are printed lithography. A lithographic stone after a certain number of manufacturing runs came to resent and maps were drawn again.

The first mention of glazed cards appears in the "Assortment" of the card factory's products from 1833, alongside decks of satin, gold-edged, select, and first-, second-, and third-grade cards. The unusual name of these cards comes from the word "glazet," a special type of brocade (a shiny, smooth fabric with a silk backing) woven with gold and silver threads. Glazed cards were a deck not only made of the highest-quality paper but also decorated with gilding or copper paint. It is believed that new card designs of English origin were developed specifically for glazed cards. This stems from the fact that the manager of a card factory, who visited London in 1833 and encountered cards with a special finish called "ivory" at the factory of the English master Delarue, attempted to introduce this technology to Russia. The factory even purchased sketches of these cards from Delarue, from which trial samples were produced and presented to Emperor Nicholas I. However, the presented samples, which were not particularly elegant, were disliked by the Tsar, prompting his famous resolution: "I see no reason to change the previous designs." This edition presents the original version of the cards, with the Delarue factory's designs (which Nicholas I disliked). The cards were published from 1840 to 1865.
