1863 playing cards with German suits (Code: g04505)

Having been born and living all my life in Russia, I became interested in history during my school years. And of course, I was most interested in the history of Russia, so when I became interested in playing cards, those published in Russia interested me first. For many years, only one factory was allowed to produce decks of cards. And since no one really studied the history of card production, it seemed that all the decks were already known, but this turned out not to be the case.

I have been looking for this Russian deck for a very long time, since I first saw several cards on the Internet. This is the very first deck of playing cards with German suits that I know of, published in Russia.

The other two on the theme of the Russian-Turkish War and the Circus have long been known.

This deck is published in its entirety here and this is the first reprint since 1863.
