English satirical playing cards (Code: g04547)

To be honest, it is not very clear why the cards are called satirical, apparently any departure from the classics, everyday life - is already satire. However, the maps were drawn and first published so long ago, and time so quickly changes the rules and concepts of good and bad, funny and tragic. Now in 2025 in Russia everything is turned upside down - each new day brings such twists that in the future (if there is one) historians and writers will have to figure out for a long time how this could have happened at all. Fear, indifference, propaganda, poverty and degradation of critical thinking - have created such an explosive mixture of SOMETHING that there are no words - only drool...

 This deck of playing cards was first published in England between 1675 and 1699.
