In 2001, AAA launched for the Russian market a series of decks of various subjects under the general name Empire of cards. But unfortunately this series was not continued anymore. This deck depicts cartoons mainly on well-known Soviet artists of cinema, pop and singers. But there is also a cartoon in the deck on the French comedian Louis de Funes, as well as on 2 Ukrainian artists, who are little known in Russia, Opalev and Andrienko.
An interesting fact is that at the time the deck was released, all the characters were alive, except for Louis de Funes and Viktor Tsoi, apparently the author of the drawings or the publisher is a fan of their work.
